Low level timber deck
A 50sq metre deck was built off the back of the house to create an entertainment area for BBQ’s and general use. An area under cover had a seating arrangement built into the deck with a timber screen to block the neighbours. All the decking used is merbau hardwood, sealed with a decking oil. Structural timber framework including bearers and joists is rougher headed H3 treated pine. Footings are galvanised steel stirrups concreted into position.
