Tight screws
Loosen tight screws in old wood by dripping a little vinegar on their heads. The vinegar will penetrate into the thread and they will be easier to unscrew.

Unpleasant Smelly Bins!
Freshen up your bin by sprinkling 1/4 cup of borax (a natural mineral found in the laundry aisle) and 1/4 cup of bicarbonate of soda into the bottom of the empty bin.

Dog urine smell in carpet…
Removing the smell of dog urine from carpets, sprinkle approx 500g of bicarb soda over the spot. If a very large area use 2 packets and sprinkle thickly over area. Leave for 24 hrs before vacuuming up.
